Ananta Padmanabha
Infinite Avataras • Infinite Glory • Infinite Compassion
Meaning of Ananta Padmanabha
The words Ananta and Padmanabha carry deep spiritual meanings. Ananta means infinite — infinite in space (Desha), time (Kala), and divine attributes (Guna).
All Avataras arise from Sri Hari and finally merge back into Him. Bhagavanta possesses an Aprakruta Deha, a divine transcendental form unlike mortal bodies. His appearance and disappearance are only divine manifestations and not birth or death like ordinary beings.
